With attacks increasingly reaching OT through IIoT, digitalization, and AI, training can’t stay limited to security specialists. It has to reach everyone who touches these systems.
“What we are seeing happen now in OT is there’s well-established training available for practitioners, for OT security professionals, but there has been a gap,” says John Cusimano, Chief Strategy Officer at Armexa. “In terms of training that’s available for the everyday user, the operators, the instrumentation techs, the control system engineers that interface with these systems every day, we want to make sure they understand their role in cybersecurity. That’s really where there’s new emphasis.”
