Armexa CEO Jacob Marzloff to Speak at S4x26 on Quantifying OT Cyber Risk in Acquisitions

Houston, TX — February 13, 2026Armexa is excited to announce that Jacob Marzloff, CEO and Co‑Founder, will speak at S4x26 on February 24, 2026, presenting a session focused on understanding and managing operational technology (OT) cyber risk during company acquisitions.

Marzloff’s session, “What Risk Have You Accepted in a Company Acquisition?”, will take place February 24 from 3:30–4:00 PM on Stage 3. The talk addresses a critical but often overlooked question in mergers and acquisitions: when you acquire an industrial business, how much cyber risk did you just buy?

Industrial asset owners are increasingly responsible for inherited cyber exposure following acquisitions, yet cyber risk is rarely evaluated with the same rigor as financial or safety risk. In this session, Marzloff will demonstrate how OT cyber risk can be tied directly into an acquiring company’s existing corporate risk matrix and executive decision‑making framework—using the same language and categories executives already rely on for financial, operational, and safety decisions.

Rather than introducing another checklist or maturity model, the approach translates OT cyber exposure into quantifiable business risk. While pre-close assessments are ideal, the reality of most transactions is that cyber diligence is constrained by time, budget, and deal priorities. Marzloff’s proposed model starts immediately post‑close, without slowing the transaction, and shifts cyber risk from a negotiation lever into an operationalized risk‑scoring process that CFOs, COOs, and CEOs can act on.

“The goal is simple,” said Marzloff. “Give asset owners a repeatable way to quantify exposure, prioritize action, and protect deal value.”
